About Russell Snelson

Independent technology judgement from someone who has built the business, not just advised on it.

I founded Prestige Logic in 2008, grew it into a UK SME technology services business, built delivery and development capability, supported clients through real operational problems, and completed a successful exit to BCN Group.

Why clients involve me

Most technology problems are really business decisions.

SME leaders are often asked to approve systems, upgrades, integrations or AI initiatives without having a truly independent person in the room. Suppliers know their products. Internal teams know their frustrations. But somebody still has to decide what is commercially sensible.

That is where I help: by translating the technical detail into practical business judgement.

  • A vendor is pushing a major upgrade or renewal.
  • A core system is holding the business back.
  • You are considering CRM, ERP, finance, workflow or field-service software.
  • You are unsure whether to build, buy or integrate.
  • AI sounds important, but you do not want to waste money on hype.
  • A project is slipping and you need a straight answer.
01Built

A real technology business.

Prestige Logic was not a theory exercise. It involved clients, staff, delivery pressure, sales, support, development, finance and decisions that had consequences.

02Delivered

Teams and systems that had to work.

I understand what is required to move from an idea, proposal or promise into something useful, maintainable and adopted by the business.

03Exited

Commercial judgement, not just technical opinion.

Having sold Prestige Logic, I understand value, risk, timing, recurring revenue, operational maturity and what makes a technology decision stand up commercially.

How I work

Plain-English advice, independent of the vendor.

I am not here to sell licences, implementation days or a preferred platform. I am here to help you make a better decision, challenge assumptions, ask the awkward questions and give you a clear view of the next sensible step.
